About us

​Lee Street Church Playgroup  has been part of the community since September 1989.  We offer a friendly, safe and stimulating environment delivered through free flow play. We are proud of our large garden and outside area, some of which is covered, which provides plenty of room for children to safely explore.
Our dedicated team of early years practitioners acknowledge that each child is an individual and unique. We want every child to flourish, be confident and believe in themselves  and work hard to enable
them to achieve their very best.
We work in partnership with parents and carers and believe that this joint approach ensures that children progress in their learning and development.

We offer places to children aged 2 to 5
including places for children from age 2 with FEET funding,
Free Early Education for 3 and 4 year old's and Working Parents' Entitlement for 2, 3 & 4 Year Olds.
